Data protection policy

Thank you for considering HPS and our training courses. We are committed to protecting your personal rights and to treating any personal information with the utmost care and confidentiality, as we do in our training courses. We handle and store any personal information gathered when you visit our websites in accordance with the current statutory provisions pertaining to the protection of personal data under the applicable General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

How we use your personal information

When you view our website, our web servers store standard technical data such as the computer’s IP address that requested the data, any objects accessed or downloaded from our website, as well as the date and time of the request. However, such data does not make a specific person identifiable. We will only store any of your personal information if this is absolutely necessary for the purpose you determined and if you yourself entered this information, for example if you subscribe to our newsletter, fill in a form or register for one of our training courses.

We will transfer the information provided by you only to our associated partner companies (in Austria) MD Holding GmbH (En GardE Verhandlungstraining GmbH, Intomedia Medientraining GmbH, fifty1 GmbH, sonicboom GmbH.) (in Germany) Vogt Training Group GmbH (HPS Deutschland GmbH, Engarde Deutschland GmbH, REEVE GmbH) but never to any other third parties. Your information will of course neither be sold to commercial data users nor made available to them for their use.

How you can modify and erase personal information

You may at any time ask us in writing to be informed about whether we have stored any of your personal information and if yes, which of it has been stored.You can also object to the use of your data. If you wish to do so, please email us to headoffice@hps-training.com.

Cookies

We use cookies on our website to make our site easier and more effective to use and safer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and in your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses.

Consent with Cookiebot

Google Tag Manager

The Google Tag Manager is a tool that allows us to integrate tracking or statistical tools and other technologies on our website. The Google Tag Manager itself does not create any user profiles, does not store cookies, and does not carry out any independent analyses. It only manages and runs the tools integrated via it. Microsoft Advertising
The website operator uses Microsoft Advertising. Microsoft Advertising is an online advertising program of Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA.
Microsoft Advertising enables us to display advertisements in the Bing search engine or on third-party websites when the user enters certain search terms into Bing (keyword targeting). Furthermore, targeted advertisements can be displayed based on the user data available at Microsoft (e.g., location data and interests) (target group targeting). As the website operator, we can evaluate this data quantitatively by analyzing, for example, which search terms led to the display of our advertisements and how many advertisements led to the corresponding clicks.

We use universal event tracking (UET) from Microsoft Advertising on this site. Pseudonymized data is collected to track the actions you take on our websites after you have clicked on an advertisement of Microsoft Advertising. Data processing
We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) for the use of the above-mentioned service. This is a contract mandated by data privacy laws that guarantees that they process personal data of our website visitors only based on our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement
We use Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement on our website, a marketing automation platform from Salesforce Inc, 415 Mission Street, 3rd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. This enables us to analyse user behaviour on our website in order to control and optimise our marketing measures in a targeted manner.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement collects and processes the following personal data in particular:
IP address, Browser information, Pages visited and length of visit, Form data entered (e.g. name, email address)
Interactions with emails and landing pages.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement uses cookies to analyse user behaviour and improve the user experience.

The processing serves to analyse user behaviour, personalise marketing measures and improve our website and offers.
Your personal data is processed on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future.
The data collected by Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement may be transferred to the USA and processed there. Salesforce Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which ensures an adequate level of data protection.

We have concluded an order processing contract with Salesforce in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR, which ensures that Salesforce processes personal data only in accordance with our instructions and takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the data.

Data security

We guarantee to protect your personal information with state-of-the-art programs in order to prevent unauthorised access, manipulation or loss by other parties. Our network administrator regularly checks that your information is secure. However, we cannot accept any liability for hacker attacks or viruses running on programs for which no protection is available yet.

Web analytics

Our website uses some features of Google Analytics. To this end, cookies are used that allow the analysis of users’ use of our website. The information collected will be transferred to the provider’s servers and stored there. If you do not agree to our use of information in this way, you can set your browser settings to block cookies.

We have concluded an agreement with the data analytics provider. Your IP address will be collected but immediately pseudonymised, allowing only a very rough tracking of users’ locations. Data processing is based on the statutory provisions under Section 96 para. 3 of the Austrian Telecommunications Act (TKG) as well as on Article 6(1)(a) to (f) of GDPR. Our legitimate interest, in accordance with the GDPR, is to improve our services and our web presence.

You can contact us using the contact form on the website.
We store the data you provide there, such as title, first and last name, e-mail address, telephone number, company name and the message.

This data is processed on the basis of Art 6 (1) lit b DSGVO for the fulfilment of the contract.

Know-how-letter

You may subscribe to our newsletter via our website. For this purpose, we need your e-mail address, title, first name and surname as well as your declaration that you agree to receive the Know-how-letter. You may unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time. If you wish to unsubscribe, please click "unsubscribe" in the Know-how-letter, or email us to headoffice@hps-training.com.
