Our small print, things you should know......

IF YOU REGISTER FOR AN OPEN TRAINING SEMINAR:

Registration and Fee
You registration to the programme becomes binding upon confirmation by both parties. Our programme price is exclusive of taxes, transportation, food & accommodation. Approximately 4 weeks prior to the programme start you will receive information about the hotel, pre-training preparation as well as the invoice for payment due prior to the programme start. In the event of an absence, the fee paid is non-refundable. Please ensure that you check the time, date and the location of your training programme.

Hotel
When you register for an open training seminar a hotel reservation at the training location is automatically made on your behalf, unless you let us know that you do not require a hotel reservation. The price varies depending on the seminar hotel, details of the hotel price is outlined on your confirmation letter. For a 2 – 3 day programme your hotel cost includes: overnight accommodation with breakfast, lunch and dinner including 1 beverage, coffee and beverages in the training room and snacks. For a 1 day programme, lunch is included in the programme price.

Changes
The planning of our open training seminars takes place well in advance so there is a chance that there may be a change in the date, location, or trainer. We require a minimum number of 6 participants in order for an open training seminar to take place. If there are not enough participants registered in the seminar then we reserve the right to cancel the seminar. In any of the above events we would inform you 4 weeks in advance of the programme start. The participants are informed either by telephone or by e-mail.

Cancellation conditions
If you would like to cancel your registration more than 4 weeks prior to the programme start then there is no cancellation fee, thereafter the fee is 50% of the programme cost and less than 10 days before the programme start the full fee is applicable. Naturally, if you are able to find a replacement who can take your place all cancellations fees will be waived! Cancellations shall be upon written notice.


IF YOU BOOK AS A COMPANY FOR IN-HOUSE TRAINING PROGRAMMES:

Programme price
Included in the price are the cost of the trainer, the technical assistant (2 or 3 day programmes), our special video technique and a data projector. All material for the participants is also included in this price (a comprehensive manual including work sheets, personal video cassette, Template CD for easy presentations preparations etc.). Not included is the equipment usually supplied on-site at the training location (OHP, flipcharts, TV monitor etc.). Also included is pre and post programme assistance in organisation

Programme preparation
About 3 weeks prior to the programme start we will send you details for the requirements for the preparation of the programme and also information which is to be forwarded to the participants which details what they need to prepare for the programme and also pre-training questionnaire which they need to complete and send back to us.

Programme report
After the programme we will send you a detailed report which includes with the trainer’s report, participants’ evaluation of the programme as well as the participants open comments. The programme price excludes all applicable taxes. The maximum number of participants is stated in your offer. If there are less participants the price of the programme does not decrease proportionately.

Travel and Accommodation
All travel and accommodation costs for the trainer and assistant, if applicable, will be charged additionally plus the legally required sales tax. This includes but is not limited to, Business Class air travel, taxi or transfers, mileage & parking reimbursements. For a 3 day intensive training programme, when travel time to the training location is greater than 4 hours, a fee is applicable for each hour over 4 hours in each direction (€110/hour).

Week-end and holiday
Programmes are normally scheduled Monday – Friday A surcharge of €600/weekend or holiday day applies.

The training location
To ensure a successful programme we must have a suitable environment for the participants. You may of course book the location of your choice, but please ensure that the location is able to meet the needs of the programme. You will receive all the details from us regarding room size, layout, technical equipment required etc. In order not to jeopardize the quality of the programme the trainer has the duty to cancel the programme (at the clients’ cost) if he/she deems upon arrival that the training location will not meet the needs of the training. We are happy to provide recommendations of training locations and work with the training location to ensure that everything is in order before the training team and participants arrive.

Changes
In the event that the trainer is unable to run the programme (e.g illness) we will speak with you and find another trainer to suit your needs.

Cancellation and shifts
Training courses are usually planned well in advance and it is therefore difficult to re-allocate trainers and resources elsewhere at short notice. We ask for your understanding in applying the following conditions concerning cancellations.

Cancellation of seminar: From 8 to 4 weeks before beginning of the programme 20% of the programme price, 4 to 2 weeks 40% of the programme price, 2 weeks until 8 days before the programme start 60% of the programme price, thereafter 75% of the programme price.

Programme shifts are free up to 8 weeks before the booked date; starting from 8 to 4 weeks before beginning of programme charge we charge 10% of the programme price as handling fee, if the seminar takes place within 6 months after the original date. Starting from 4 weeks before beginning of seminar our cancellation conditions apply.

Copyright
All material supplied or used as part of an HPS training programme or used in project development is protected by copyright and remains the intellectual property of HPS GmbH. This material is only for use by those participants who have attended an HPS training programme and copying or use by others of any such material is prohibited. This applies to internal use within the client’s company as well as to external use.

Confidentiality
We work with different companies, which often can be in competition with each other. Trainers and assistants are bound to absolute confidentiality regarding any information (professional or personal) which is discussed within the programme.

Terms of payment
Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice ( i.e. 8 business days)without delay! Please note that we charge the normal banking rate interest in all late payments. All prices are quoted in Euro plus all applicable Austrian Taxes.

Area of jurisdiction
Any disputes shall be settled under Austrian regulations and in the applicable jurisdiction.

By booking or registering for an HPS programme you agree to the above terms and conditions. All of the above shall be applicable unless otherwise agreed by both parties in writing.
