Why this is a “must”
Effective knowledge management is vital for successful companies. How expert know-how is transferred to other departments plays an important part in ensuring overall success. Experts often lack the skills to make training sessions interactive and deal with group dynamics. Clear structure, effective visual aids and methods which encourage participation will ensure more training success.

Who benefits
Every one who, apart from their main job, has to train other employees in their area of expertise. Please note: during three days it is not possible to acquire a complete “Train-the-Trainer” qualification. We therefore concentrate on contents which will have an immediate positive impact on training impact.  

What you gain
Participants will be aware of adult learning requirements and will design courses accordingly. They will be able to structure the sessions logically and tailor the modules to the participants’ needs. They will be able to present dry and abstract content in a visually attractive way and use different media appropriately in order to maintain participant attention. Optimization of platform skills and tips for interaction will ensure that they achieve high personal impact.

Tips: How to use breaks even with a tight schedule?
Your participants will need short breaks in order to stay concentrated.  The problem: the 10 minute break takes at least 20 minutes!  The answer: use energizers and activation excercises as “hidden” breaks - the door to the training room stays closed!

  • Main objective - have fun! Content retention is higher in a relaxed positive atmosphere
  • Tailor the energizers to your audience
  • Never force participants to participate.  When participants see how much fun the others are having, they often join the activities later on

  • Personal impact: make a confident and convincing impression- optimise posture, gestures, eye contact, …
  • Didactic and structure: plan trainings professionally, optimise key phases of the training: start, finale, …
  • Training setting: create a positive atmosphere and handle difficult situations  - use warm-up/ wrap-up exercises and energizers to increase retention
  • Media handling: make the most out of presentation tools – aim for a mixture to get your message across and keep your audience focused
  • Visualisation: don’t rely on text charts only, offer insight with diagrams, increase recall with pictures
